Corn Snakes The
Comprehensive Owner's Guide
(Paperback)
by Kathy Love (Author), Bill Love
(Author)
|
|
|
|
Each year, more corn snakes
are bred in captivity than any other snake species. Their
increasing popularity is largely credited to their rich
colouring, easy handling size, and calm disposition. Corns
usually will not bite, constrict, or defecate under mild
stress like other snakes. |

amphibian care, comes this revised and updated version, with
the most comprehensive information available on keeping and
breeding corn snakes.
This book satisfies the needs of both
the novice and the seasoned veteran of "guttata culture",
offering the latest on breeding, genetics, and the range and
history of colour and pattern variations, as well as the
basics of feeding and care. |

Well written and very comprehensive
guide to owning a corn snake. Great
for first time buyers as this book
tells you information more advanced
books sometimes miss out, such as
how to hold a snake...not always
obvious to first time owners. Well
worth a read! |

Corn Snakes the Comprehensive Owners
Guide is exactly what it said. It
was full of usefull information for
me as a beginner. Covering all
subjects from, where to get your
snake, how to choose a healthy
specimen, Basic housing
requirements, Feeding, breeding,
diseases, and handling techniques.
which was fine for me. Then it
covered subjects like the history of
Morphing the basic snake colours and
patterns. the law and owning
snakes.I think this is predominantly
the American Law, as it mentions
feeding live pinkies to troublesome
feeders. I understood that we could
not feed live animals to our pets.
For anyone who is thinking about
buying a corn snake this is the book
for you. |
